MAN UTD GOT LUCKY IN THE FA CUP QUARTER-FINALS
https://youtu.be/PYOyMK2Jw7g?si=v6HYK5YEw_NhqQ0i
Manchester United beat Liverpool 4-3 after extra time (2-2 at regular full time) in a quarter-final match at Old Traford last night.
MU was lucky to win the match as Liverpool was overall played better than the winner. MU was at the brink to be koed twice, first when there was less than three minutes of play before the regular full time and again at the very few minutes before the full of extra time. A few seconds before the end of the game MU got lucky to put the ball on Liverpool's back to win the match.
Seemed Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, didn't learn from the mistake in an earlier EPL match in November 2023 where Liverpool was hold 0-0 by MU though the Red was overwhelmed and in total conrol of the game over the Red Devil.
MU in overall played much better and able to challenge Liverpool compared to the EPL match against Man City a week ago. However, quality wise MU is very much far behind Liverpool and Man City albeit Arsenal too. Therefore MU definately needs to recruit new players with quality in order to fight in equal terms with the three giants in the English football and in the Champion League next season, provided they qualified for it.

THAT COUNTRY
The difference level of intelligence.
When that country protested against Casino. Singapore built 7, the biggest one being the Marina Bay Sand Casino.
When that country protested against concert by int'al artise. Singapore brought in Taylor Swift and Cool Play. They made millions out of the concerts.
When that country imposed full disclosure requitement at all money changers.
Singapore welcome all with open arms. Overnight, business of money changers at that country drops by 50%.
When that country rejects top students in public universities, Singapore offers many of them scholarships and admissions into their top universities.
When that country gave up a rock outcrop in a strait in 1953, Singapore built a light house and own it till today.
When that country opted to only sell raw water at a low low price to Singapore instead of processng it, Singapore built the most advanced water processing plant money can buy and sells the clean water back to that country at a huge profit. Net, that country gives water and also money to Singapore.
This is telling the world how smart the Singaporen politicians are.
Please do not comment about that country politicians. We already know where they stand today. That far behind !
How idiotic that country politicians, never stop to think to 'SAPU' for own ego, power and comfort rather to serve intellectually diligently to bring up the country.

WOULD ZAID IBRAHIM BE REBUKED BY . . ?
Zaid Ibrahim reply to the UMNO guy protesting about non Malay recruitment into civil service :
Umno is not helping the Prime Minister
The move to attract non-Malays into the civil service is welcomed news. We should have done this much earlier. The government must be serious about this plan.
Unfortunately, Umno is against it. Why? If the Chinese and the Indians are interested in joining the service ( and that’s a big if), it will make the civil service more efficient. The nation's productivity will increase, and that will attract real investments.
The inclusion of non-Malays in the service will bring about a more competitive environment. A new work culture will emerge to replace the years of Malay-only work habits. The coffee breaks will be shorter, and the early departure to pick up the children from school will be better organised. There will be an overall improvement in the delivery system. It may help to reduce corruption. It can help in forging better friendships among communities
But Umno is not doing enough to spur change in the Madani government. They are still talking about issues of yesteryears. They are still fearful of the Chinese. Or are they afraid of finding out what they are made of?
Let me say this. The Chinese and the Indians are, by and large, self-sufficient. They don’t depend too much on govt cash handouts, govt schools, universities or GLCs. Economically, they are strong. The number one economic Superpower is China, and India is a close third. In other words, the ethnic non-Malays feel secure in the region. They really don’t depend on Bumiputras
It’s us, the Malays who need the help of the more hardworking and independent-minded Chinese / Indians to spur change and move the country forward. We need the non-Malays to be involved and participate in the workings of the government at all levels.
Umno must remove the blinkers and see the world for what it is. We have been left behind despite all the so-called privileges, so the country must change. The values must change. Let’s start with the civil service.

Vending Machines
An MP from Pulai suggested that beer now be sold through vending machines to prevent Muslim workers in convenience stores from touching the bottle. According to many Muslims, they are not to drink alcoholic beverages and are not allowed even to touch the bottle.
JAKIM has warmly welcomed the suggestion, and we can expect speedy implementation soon
- By extension, no Malay drivers should be allowed to drive any vehicles carrying beer bottles.
- No Malay customs officers should be allowed to inspect beer consignments and impose duties.
- Lastly, the Ministry of Finance need to employ more non-Muslims quickly as many business and commercial activities in the country are not halal-type
Recently, a well-known Muslim preacher advised a Muslim architect not to follow the instructions of his boss to sketch and draw a plan for a temple, failing which he should look for other work
Looking for a job is hard, but it’s more problematic for a Muslim who follows the preacher's advice.
A website of a religious authority advised Muslims not to work in conventional banks as they are haram.
A Muslim can’t work in any establishment that’s not halal
Since we have thousands of preachers giving advice freely on matters of religion, and this advice has far-reaching consequences and economic ramifications, the govt needs to introduce an agenda for deliberation in the forthcoming Conference of Malay Rulers : The debilitating influence of preachers on the economic advancement of the Malays
My Comments : Can Malays or should Malays travel to non-Muslim countries? Because in non-Muslim countries almost everything is not halal. Their women do not cover their aurat. So should Malays travel to such countries - for any reason at all.
What beneficial knowledge can Malays possibly gain from non-Muslim countries? Because it is the same knowledge that makes the non-Muslim countries not halal in almost every aspect. It is their same knowledge which makes their women expose their aurat.
So why should Malays go to non-Muslim countries to acquire knowledge which have made them non-Muslim and not halal in the first place? Should Malays be restricted to travelling to Muslim countries only? Should the passports say : "The bearer of this passport is restricted to travel to member countries of the Organisation of Islamic Countries only"? Or something similar?
The economy will have no choice but to hire more non-Malays.
But there are fewer non-Malays.
So their salaries and wages will go up.
Non-Malays will be paid more than Malays.
Ability to handle non-halal products will be a significant advantage.
